Baby costumes – choosing the best costume has never been this fun

Posted on: September 28, 2011

Reality bites, whatever babies wear whether it is a simple plain shirt or lovely adorned dress, they do look cute when wearing them. But when it comes to being invited into a costume party, this is where creativity takes into the picture. Some parents would prefer making their baby's costumes but other parents who do not have time to sew baby costumes would simply purchase one at a local store or online.

Here is the fun bit when it comes to shopping baby costumes - choosing from an array of costumes from the variety of styles and colors. This might be challenging to some parents but most of the time its fun!

When choosing for the best costume, here are some friendly reminders.

For baby girl, baby pink and light blue are the best color combination for a baby costume. This is often seen on fairy tale princess costumes. This brings out the femininity and make every baby girl looks wonderful and subtle – not looking so active but relaxed. It is highly advisable to pair up a baby costume for girls with soft and comfy shoes. Flat ones with cotton cushion inside will be highly advisable. A 2-year old baby girl would like to walk around, at least during the party; she will feel at ease and no pain.

For baby boy, dark colors such as dark blue and red are perfect color combination. One good example of a baby costume that has these two colors is the super hero costume. It does give off that nice touch of masculinity, fun and energy from within. For footwear to match with a baby boy superhero costume – a pair sneakers or sandals would be great! Color coordination would be a good fashion statement. Dark blue or red colored sneakers will be highly recommended. Baby boys do love running, playing around and mingle with other kids. Therefore, a pair of good quality sneakers should be worn to ensure that there is enough comfort to walk around and not ending in crying with pain.

Whether it be for a baby girl or baby boy, baby costumes should be taken into much consideration and lightly. The last thing that parents would have to deal with is a crying baby who felt itch, pain on wearing a pair of uncomfortable footwear, and getting embarrassed at the end of the party. Therefore, it is a must to go for baby costumes that are good for baby's skin and a pair of sneakers or sandals that will make any baby walk with joy during a party.
